Spherical balls

Bearings with igubal® spherical balls are 80% lighter than their metal counterparts. But comparably robust, nevertheless. At the same time, they are up to 40% more cost-effective and more economic in operation, in addition. They permit dry running without lubrication, which makes them maintenance-free.  igubal® spherical balls are available in various high-performance plastics, each with different properties. The iglidur® X polymer stands up to extreme temperatures between -100 °C and +250 °C and maintains its full compressive strength. iglidur® X almost universally chemical-resistant. iglidur® J scores with a low level of moisture absorption, iglidur® R with its especially low purchase cost. Another high-performance plastic was developed for the food industry that can be detected by metal detectors, thus increasing product safety. And iglidur® UW is suitable for underwater applications. The igubal® spherical balls are available in dimensional series E and K. The tolerance of the inner diameter corresponds to E10 (the shaft should have a tolerance between h6 and h9).
