The rail network is exposed to increasingly high loads as more and more people and goods are transported by rail. This also leads to higher stress for turnouts. Hence, components are required that withstand the constant stress. Therefore, iglidur plain bearings and thrust washers made of high-performance polymers are used in switch devices.
